Holiday Buys

It was hailstoning yesterday, WHAT A JOKE.  When work finally confirmed I could have time off for my holibobs I bought a few bits straight away because I exciteeeeed. Seeing as the weather is quite atrocious right now I probably won't get to wear any of this until August when I'm actually away so I thought I'd show yous what I got like this...sorry everything looks so crinkled!

Playsuit and Shorts: Zara

I got the playsuit to sit around the pool in...I have issues with swimwear so things like this are the perfect alternative for me. Definitely need to get tanned up before wearing this though! I love these little shorts too, they're silky and quite like pyjamas.

Cami: River Island

I don't really own any vests or cami tops so got this in River Island for £12 which I think is quite bargainous! They had loads of colours but I went for pink (my fave!)  It's just the right shade to wear with black as well,  I think it'll look good with the Zara shorts.

Playsuit and Bra: And Other Stories

The first time I went into And Other Stories I didn't think it was all that but to be fair I went on a busy Saturday afternoon so couldn't really look around properly. This time it was much quieter and I liked it a lot more, picked up this little playsuit which looks loads better on then it does here! It makes me feel really glam for some reason haha. I don't know if it's tacky to show underwear on here but got this super pretty bra too, it's just what I was looking for. Will definitely be visiting the store more often, the things I bought feel way more expensive than they were and the staff are really lovely too which is always a bonus, right?

Are you going away this year?

Harrods: The Summer Of Now

As I've mentioned before, I'm a little bit obsessed with the 1920's...if I could go back in time I'd definitely go back and be a flapper girl! Luckily there's no need for a time machine as Harrods has all the Gatsby Fashion you could want. Check out these dreamy pictures of The Summer Of Now campaign.

I'm completely lusting after that Saint Laurent gown worn in the third picture! Perhaps a little out of my price range so I'll be channeling my inner Daisy by copying the model's gorgeous smoky eye...find out how to get the look here. Make sure you pop over to the Harrods website for loads of 1920's inspiration (I'll be trying out the cocktail recipes!) and check out the fab competitions they're running at the moment, including the chance to win a weekend break in New York

Outfit: Black Leather And Red Lips

Top: ASOS
Skirt: Vintage
Shoes: Topshop
Bag: Mulberry
Necklace: Delilah Dust

I cut my fringe and it is waaay wonky, now my eyebrows have nowhere to hide...it is time to get the tweezers out :( but it's nice to be able to see again. Another gloomy all black outfit, I'm going to wear this skirt more often though!

I had such a good day yesterday, went to see In Fine Style: The Art Of Tudor And Stuart Fashion at The Queen's Gallery by Buckingham Palace. I loved it, it was really interesting and as a history geek I was especially happy to see paintings that I've only ever seen pictures of in books. There was this touch screen guide they gave you and it had these video clips of Gareth Pugh talking about how Tudor style influences his work which was cool. If you're into the history of fashion I really recommend it, it's on until October and I hope to go again at some point.

I was supposed to go straight home afterwards but obviously that didn't happen, I ended up down Oxford Street of course! I was naughty and bought quite a lot but some girl was trying to steal in Topshop so in my defence I wasn't as naughty as her. I'll show you what I bought soon!

Oh, and also I met a lovely girl who said she reads my blog which was a nice surprise...hiiiii, was great to meet you! Thanks for making me feel all warm and fuzzy haha!

Outfit: Dots And Leather

Shirt: Uniqlo
Trousers: Zara
Shoes: Topshop

Waaaaah, baggy knees. GO AWAY. Everything about me here is kind of scruffy, I apologise.

Yesterday I was in the fitting room at work and Arg and Tom P from The Only Way Is Essex came in, they were just as flash as you'd expect. Saw Arg in his pants :( They acted like they were being filmed, they definitely struck me as a little odd. And a lotta orange.

And now I'm off til Friday, woo! Really want to get to The Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace, I know I always say I'm gonna go here and there but the latest exhibition is a bit of a must for me because I am Tudor obsessed! I know it's geeky but I'm really excited about seeing it.

Outfit: New Balance And Jewels

Coat: ASOS
Jumper: H&M
Necklace: H&M
Trousers: River Island
Shoes: New Balance

Yes, I am wearing the same trousers and jumper that I wore in my last post. Don't judge, we've all done it right? They were clean. Ish.

You know something horrid happened on the tube on the way to work yesterday morning. Being the first train it was chocka and some bloke's face was really close to my head but I just ignored it thinking he had no choice. But then he proper stuck his nose in my hair and sniffed like really deeply. FREEEEEAK. So I elbowed him and because it was so packed loads of people saw and were like 'What are you doing??' so he got off at the next stop. I really hate that things like this always seem to happen to me, why is this? Please console me and tell me your tales of creeps.
